About:People think of hotels, not homes, when they think of Booking.com. They needed to change perceptions and show that Aussies can find just about any home on the platform.

The campaign coincided with the news that Neighbours would finish its iconic 40-year run. So we seized the moment and listed Dr Karl Kennedy’s iconic on-screen home on Booking.com.




The fastest-responding fan would get the chance to stay overnight and watch the final episode with the doctor himself. Unsurprisingly, the stay was booked within seconds, and the story inspired 266 pieces of global coverage, and traffic to the home section of Booking.com spiked by 36%.
